Why DSR Foundation Exists
The technology to deflect asteroids, track orbital debris, and harden power grids against solar storms already exists. The financial architecture to fund and sustain those defenses at planetary scale does not.
Our Mission
DSR Foundation designs financial instruments, institutional structures, and governance frameworks to prepare civilization for space-origin threats across three domains: asteroid deflection, orbital debris mitigation, and solar flare resiliency.
Our work spans research, bond structure development, and institutional modeling. We engage policymakers and capital markets participants to close the gap between existing defense technology and the funding it needs.
Our Approach
Threat-Agnostic Design
Asteroids, orbital debris, and solar flares each demand different timelines and responses. Our instruments are structured to address all three through a unified financial architecture.
Precedent-Based Innovation
Every mechanism we propose has a proven analogue in catastrophe bonds, multilateral development banks, or sovereign risk pools. We adapt what already works.
Institutional Compatibility
Our frameworks plug into COPUOS, ITU, and national grid authorities rather than replacing them. Governance that fits existing structures scales faster.
Pre-Crisis Readiness
The goal is not to respond to the next near-miss headline. It is to have capital deployed, bonds issued, and governance in place before a crisis arrives.
Team
Our leadership team brings experience across multilateral finance, space policy, catastrophe risk modeling, and institutional design.
